Lizzy's Reflection
This field trip was my first time at Crowders Mountain. It was a great experience and I would definitely go back again. The hike up the mountain was long, but not as long as I expected it to be. I hiked up the mountain with Kayla W. and Maddie. This field trip really brought out the teamwork skills in all of us. The view at the top was very beautiful. It was worth the struggle hiking up. I also enjoyed hearing the ranger talk a little bit about Crowders Mountain. I enjoyed every aspect of this field trip and recommend it for future trips.
Kayla's Reflection
This trip to the Crowder Mountain truly showed our determination and team work we all had. This trip was actually my first time going and I absolutely loved it. Even though I'm the most athletic person, I actually enjoyed walking up the mountain with everyone. Getting up there was kind of a struggle, but I mean as I said we had to use our team work and determination to push each other up to the top. When we all got to the top, the beautiful scenery was all worth the trudge up the mountain. I kind of felt sorry for those who got lost and didn't get to the top. The ranger also gave us a lot of interesting facts about the mountain. I think the field trip really pushed us to the limit and it was kind a sense of accomplishment for everyone.
